Karibu wote

We welcome you to come join us anytime you're in the area. Our church doors are open to anyone who is seeking to know who Christ is and desires a relationship with Him. We welcome you to come and grow with us in the love of God and concern for his people.  St. Mary's Kabete is a great place to experience the love of God as you interact with his people, and to encounter his power through the preaching and teaching of sound doctrine, Christian fellowship, prayer meetings and other interactive fora.  We look forward to seeing you soon.

Consecration Sunday Service.

On the 27th of November 2016, St. Mary’s Parish celebrated a 27 year old dream come true. 27 years ago the ground breaking ceremony of this beautiful church took place and almost three decades of prayer, devotion and sacrifice later, we rejoice over the successive achievements of our Parishioners over the years. Truly, it has been a great journey of faith! I thus, take this earliest opportunity to congratulate our Christians for this tremendous fit, for your great faith in our God in believing that a small congregation can build such a magnificent structure of worship. I honour and acknowledge the immense contribution of all my predecessors listed on page 12 of the consecration booklet for their initiate in mobilizing the Parishioners and other external resources culminating in this auspicious occasion.

I also wish to thank Father in God, the Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev Joel Waweru, who promptly and happily availed himself together with our mum, Tabitha Waweru, to celebrate this great day and without whom this sacred service would not have been possible. We are forever grateful for his for his wisdom and guidance in every step of the way. I further wish to recognize the Westlands Archdeaconry team leader, the Venerable Canon Jane Mwangangi for her prayers, wise council and input in the planning of this endeavor. Certainly, I would be very ungrateful if I did not formally acknowledge and appreciate the current Parish council for their dedication and sacrifice in the planning and execution of the work we relish today.

To all our visitors, Clergy and lay, we thank you for coming and we warmly welcome you again to share with us the joy of this auspicious occasion.

To God be the glory, great things he has done.

Rev Samuel Chege Vicar.

1 John 2:15-17
(15) Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them. (16) For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. (17) The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
